Is this built for TCF or TEF specifically, or just general French?

Both. You build real, everyday French first, then move into TCF- and TEF-oriented practice as you're ready. ParleSprint is not affiliated with IRCC, TCF, or TEF, and doesn't guarantee a score.

How is this different from a flashcard or gamified app?

Those apps teach vocabulary, grammar, and listening as separate games. ParleSprint connects them into one feedback loop with live correction and live speaking, so what you learn Monday is what you're asked to use Tuesday.

Is Marie a real person?

Marie is a digital tutor, not a person, and not a generic chatbot either. She sits on top of a structured curriculum, a spaced-repetition engine, and a memory of your learning history. Every session summary and recurring mistake shapes what you practise next.

What happens to my voice recordings?

Your speech is used to run the conversation and generate your feedback, nothing else. Session transcripts stay in your account so your tutor can remember your progress, and they're never sold or used to advertise to you.
