These terms govern your use of the ParleSprint app and website (“ParleSprint,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
The service
ParleSprint is an AI-powered French speaking and listening tutor. Lessons, grading, and conversation responses are generated by third-party AI models (Google Gemini, and optionally OpenRouter) — the content you receive is AI-generated and may occasionally contain errors. ParleSprint is a practice tool, not a substitute for a certified language instructor or official exam preparation body.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use ParleSprint to:
- Attempt to extract, abuse, or resell access to the underlying AI models.
- Generate or attempt to elicit illegal, hateful, or exploitative content.
- Interfere with the service's operation or attempt to bypass usage limits or paywalls.
If the AI tutor ever produces something inappropriate or wrong, use the in-app “Report a problem” option, or email thoufeek@agiventures.ca.
Subscriptions and free usage
Some ParleSprint usage is free; continued or extended access may require a paid subscription, purchased and managed through the app store you downloaded ParleSprint from (Apple App Store or Google Play). Subscription price, duration, and renewal terms are shown before purchase and are managed through your app store account settings, including cancellation.
Disclaimers
ParleSprint is provided “as is.” AI-generated content may be imperfect. We don't guarantee specific learning outcomes, exam results, or immigration/certification results.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated in the app before they take effect.
