Read for the shape first. Someone has a plan, something changes, and the day continues. You can understand a useful story without translating every sentence.

Le plan du samedi

Ce samedi, Nora veut dormir tard, mais elle se réveille à huit heures. Elle ouvre la fenêtre. Il fait beau. Elle envoie un message à son ami : « On va au marché ? »

This Saturday, Nora wants to sleep late, but she wakes up at eight. She opens the window. The weather is nice. She messages her friend: Shall we go to the market?

Son ami répond oui, mais il doit travailler le matin. Nora change le plan. Elle prépare un café, range son appartement et va à la bibliothèque. À midi, elle retrouve son ami devant le marché.

Ils achètent des pommes et du pain. Ensuite, ils marchent dans le quartier. Finalement, Nora rentre chez elle avec une idée : demain, elle va cuisiner une tarte aux pommes.
