How to use it
aller means “to go”. It is an irregular verb, so the present-tense stems have to be learned, but the endings still follow the usual pattern. In the passé composé it takes être: je suis allé(e). The participle agrees with the subject: add e for feminine, s for plural. The past participle is allé. Future and conditional share one stem: j’irai / j’irais.
