How to use it
courir means “to run”. It is an irregular verb, so the present-tense stems have to be learned, but the endings still follow the usual pattern. In the passé composé it takes avoir: j’ai couru. The past participle is couru. Future and conditional share one stem: je courrai / je courrais.
