How to use it
dormir means “to sleep”. It is an irregular verb, so the present-tense stems have to be learned, but the endings still follow the usual pattern. In the passé composé it takes avoir: j’ai dormi. The past participle is dormi. Future and conditional share one stem: je dormirai / je dormirais.
