How to use it
lever means “to raise”. It is a regular -er verb with a spelling change, so the endings follow the regular -er pattern. The accent changes to è in the forms where the ending is silent (je, tu, il, ils), and in the future and conditional for -e-er verbs. In the passé composé it takes avoir: j’ai levé. The past participle is levé. Future and conditional share one stem: je lèverai / je lèverais.
