How to use it
vivre means “to live”. It is an irregular verb, so the present-tense stems have to be learned, but the endings still follow the usual pattern. In the passé composé it takes avoir: j’ai vécu. The past participle is vécu. Future and conditional share one stem: je vivrai / je vivrais.
